DARA Celebrates World Refugee Day

Writer's picture: The DARA TeamThe DARA Team

Today is World Refugee Day, and DARA continues to be committed to our mission of welcoming and resettling refugee families in our community. We celebrate the American spirit of supporting immigration and offering asylum to refugees, which has made our country the diverse and great nation it is today.

Please join DARA in celebrating refugees! Spread the word on social media, visit our Get Involved page to learn about volunteering and donating to help DARA fulfill our mission, and to learn about all the ways you can help.

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
