How it works
Once we receive your application, we'll contact your references. Please remind them to watch for an email from @daract.org and to provide their reference right away so that we can move on to the next step.
After your references reply, we'll schedule an interview with you, request a simple background check, and will provide you with training.
Once those requirements are completed, you'll receive an invitation to DARA's home on Slack to join the rest of our volunteers in welcoming a refugee family to our community.
Thank you for your willingness to help DARA assist refugees!
DARA always needs volunteer drivers, and driver's ed helpers!
If you can volunteer to drive, the Transportation Team is where our need is often the greatest.
Please view the slideshow below that explains volunteer responsibilities in more detail.
Your donation can also help DARA continue to aid refugees in our community.
