Are you concerned about what’s happening in the lives of refugees today? If you’d like to make a difference locally and are interested in volunteering with DARA, come by and talk with us this Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM, September 17, at A Common Ground in Danbury, CT. We’ll have guest speakers as well as information tables, so make sure to arrive by 2:00!

DARA'S HEALTH & INCLUSIVITY POLICY

The health and safety of DARA's volunteers, clients, and community is our highest priority. All volunteers who interact with our refugee family clients are required to practice hygiene to maintain a healthy environment. Any volunteer who feels ill for any reason should immediately notify their team leader and avoid in-person volunteer duties until cleared to return.

DARA is committed to providing an environment that is safe, friendly, nondiscriminatory, and inclusive.

DARA welcomes and values everyone regardless of ability, beliefs, culture, economic resources, ethnicity, gender identity, or race.
